I'd highly recommend adding “The First 6 Weeks Course” to your care plan for the 4th trimester!

As a first time mom I had so many questions that were not answered by my OBGYN or nurses. As sweet as they were, there was never enough time at appointments to cover everything I needed to know to confidently care for my newborn son and myself after our birth. Having Ana’s easy to follow advice was a godsend especially once we got home from the hospital. I appreciated the way the video lessons blended professional advice with “real mom” ideas and tips. Looking back it was the best investment I could have made for my own sanity for my postpartum experience!

"I stumbled upon The Madre Space scrolling instagram one night & I was intrigued by the idea of a “Virtual Midwife.”

Even though I didn't fully understand how that would all work. I had been sorely disappointed with my first pregnancy/postpartum experience with my first son. I used a local OBGYN that my insurance covered and although we are both “healthy and alive” it was honestly one of the most confusing and miserable times of my life. I'd heard from one of my best friends who had a home birth how amazing midwifery care is but both my husband and I were not ready to try “home birth”. After my first virtual appointment with Ana I had a really good feeling about things being different this time around. She offered me much deeper education on all of my questions, and I felt seen and held through my ups and downs. Even though our connection was not in person I can honestly say she made a HUGE difference in my second pregnancy and birth experience.

"I had no idea what I was in for when we left the birthing center with my son. I remember thinking, "They're just going to let us take him home?"

I was terrified the first week that I was going to screw everything up. Thank goodness for Ana and her expertise. She made me feel so at peace and like I could really do this. I hope every mother has the kind of guidance and loving support I received from having her as a virtual postpartum midwife !"

"The First Six Weeks Series” was a life saver for this first time mama!"

n all my researching for solid, unbiased support options for new mothers I've never seen anything like this program. The access to education from both a medical perspective + the more holistic wisdom of a midwife was so refreshing & reassuring. It was like having a trusted friend to consult any time of the day or night for real time reminders and solutions. Ana is a wealth of knowledge both from her real life experience as a mother & her career as a midwife. I refer all my friends to her because every woman deserves this kind of support in postpartum!

You're going to make it, I promise.

Cassie Hadfield 3rd Time Mama

"Having access to Ana's loving support during my pregnancy and postpartum was incredible."

Her presence and care honestly felt life saving during one of the most vulnerable times of my life. Ana is the real deal. Her advice is so nurturing and genuinely helpful. I felt that my concerns were seen and truly addressed. It was like she knew in advance exactly how I'd feel and the hurdles we'd encounter. It's clear her expertise comes from both personal struggles and professional experience. Her ability to listen, and offer helpful advice eased my anxiety and helped me better care for myself and my son. I cannot recommend her enough for anyone preparing for a baby or freshly postpartum.

I’m so glad you found my little corner of the internet.

In a world where obstetrical appointments can feel rushed and impersonal, "The Madre Space" offers a refreshing approach to maternity care. Our focus is on providing truly client-centered care, all within the cozy confines of your own home.
Enjoy the nurturing care of a holistic midwife, working hand in hand with your primary health care provider. I am dedicated to prioritizing the human connection in maternity care, ensuring that you receive the attention and support you deserve during this transformative time.

Welcome Mama!

tell me more

The average prenatal and postpartum visit lasts 5-8 minutes . That’s not near enough time for most parents to get their questions answered and concerns addressed.

Did you know?

let's do this!

Bid farewell to the feelings of overwhelm and isolation and embrace a deeper understanding of the changes occurring within your body and your precious baby's development. Welcome to a journey of knowledge and connection that will bring you closer to your own body and the new life growing within you.

"i didn't loose myself in motherhood, i found a new me."

Your greatest contribution to the universe may not be something you did but someone you raise.

Recovery from Cesarean Sections or as I like to lovingly call them, "sunroof births" will be covered. Incision care, resuming activity suggestions, and other comfort and healing tips are laid out in simple steps to help you start feeling your best sooner!

does this course cover c-section care ?

As attentive as your provider may be, the standard care model includes 2-3 brief postpartum appointments. These appointments will be rushed and chances are you won't even remember your questions while in the office. Most new moms find just getting out of the house and TO the appointment to be exhausting. This is where this course will be your best friend. Clear concise searchable information. Get in, get answers and gain confidence any time of the day or night.

won't my doctor tell me all i need to know ?

This course is perfectly designed for anyone preparing to welcome a baby or has recently given birth. our Our society places significant emphasis on acquiring the physical necessities for a baby, yet often provides inadequate preparation for you, the parent, as you navigate one of life's most pivotal transitions. While the allure of a perfect nursery and an array of gadgets like wipe warmers and scented diaper pails may be enticing, the true game-changer would be a comprehensive "Newborn & New Mom User Manual" and the guidance of a seasoned professional. With these points in mind I crafted this course—a convenient "easy button" for new parents. By enrolling, you will gain access to my tried and true support system.
