Release Of Liability
Please read this liability waiver carefully before participating in The Madre Space Virtual Midwifery Consultations . By purchasing any of The Madre Space Virtual Products , you acknowledge and agree to the terms and conditions set forth below. If you do not agree to these terms, please not proceed with the service.
1. ASSUMPTION OF RISK
I understand that virtual midwifery appointments whether pregnant, non pregnant or postpartum are meant to be used for education and emotional support reasons only, in addition to in person medical care that I the client have secured for myself. I voluntarily choose to participate with full knowledge and acceptance of any risks that could be associated with virtual midwifery care or online educational resources.
2. RELEASE OF LIABILITY
I hereby release, discharge, and hold harmless The Madre Space, its officers, directors, employees, agents, and representatives (collectively, "Released Parties"), from any and all claims, demands, causes of action, losses, damages, liabilities, or expenses of any kind arising out of or related to my participation in virtual midwifery appointments or online education course materials, including but not limited to personal injury, mental distress, property damage, or any other harm, even if caused by the negligence or fault of the Released Parties.
3. INDEMNIFICATION
I agree to indemnify and hold harmless the Released Parties from any and all claims, demands, actions, suits, damages, liabilities, and costs, including reasonable attorney's fees, arising from my participation in virtual midwifery appointments or online education course materials.
4. MEDICAL ATTENTION
In the event of any injury or illness during my participation in virtual appointments or online education course materials , I authorize the Released Parties to seek medical treatment on my behalf and at my expense, if necessary.
5. ACKNOWLEDGEMENT OF UNDERSTANDING
I have carefully read and fully understand the contents of this liability waiver. I am aware that by purchasing any virtual services or online educational resources from The Madre Space, I am waiving certain legal rights and assuming the risks associated with virtual midwifery appointments or online education course materials.
6. GOVERNING LAW
This liability waiver shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California United States Of America .
