Do you feel unsure about navigating early postpartum on your own?
Going home from the hospital and having little to no experience caring for a newborn is understandably overwhelming !
Many new families don't have a strong community to rally around them.
You can't help but feel like you'd be able to relax and enjoy the newborn phase if you had someone to show you the way and calm your new mom anxiety.
As a first time mom I had so many questions that were not answered by my OBGYN or nurses. As sweet as they were, there was never enough time at appointments to cover everything I needed to know to confidently care for my newborn son and myself. Having Ana’s easy to follow advice was a godsend especially once we got home from the hospital. The easy to follow video lessons helped me learn so much in a short amount of time. Looking back it was the best investment I could have made for my own sanity in postpartum!

Even though I didn't fully understand how that would all work. I had been sorely disappointed with my first pregnancy/postpartum experience with my first son. I used a local OBGYN that my insurance covered and although we are both “healthy and alive” it was honestly one of the most confusing and miserable times of my life. I'd heard from one of my best friends who had a home birth how amazing midwifery care is but both my husband and I were not ready to try “home birth”. After my first virtual appointment with Ana I had a really good feeling about things being different this time around. She offered me much deeper education on all of my questions, and I felt seen and held through my ups and downs. Even though our connection was not in person I can honestly say she made a HUGE difference in my second pregnancy and birth experience.

I was terrified the first week that I was going to screw everything up. Thank goodness for Ana and her expertise. She made me feel so at peace and like I could really do this. I hope every mother has the kind of guidance and loving support I received from having her as a virtual postpartum midwife !"

Setting A Foundation
I had been sorely disappointed with my first pregnancy & postpartum experience with my son. I used a local OBGYN that my insurance covered and although we are both “healthy and alive” it was honestly one of the most confusing and miserable times of my life. I'd heard from one of my best friends who had a home birth how amazing midwifery care is but both my husband and I were not the "home birth type". I had no idea midwifery care could be added onto conventional care. I knew from my first consult that my second pregnancy was going to be so much better. Ana offered me much deeper education on all of my questions, and I could relax and enjoy my experience instead of being overwhelmed by anxiety. Even though our connection was not in person I felt as though I had an ally and a trusted friend to guide me all the way through til my baby was 3 months old! I'm so glad I found The Madre Space and that this option is available even if you're not a "home birth mom"
