You just sat for 45 minutes in a crowded waiting room, then another 15 minutes in an exam room waiting on your turn with the doctor. When she finally arrives your appointment is rushed, vitals are taken and you get a "everything looks good" stamp of approval. They tell you to return in 4 weeks. You're left wanting so much more support but you don't know how to find it. Allow me to introduce you to Virtual Midwifery!
It's day 4 following the birth of your baby. Your breasts are aching, you're concerned your baby isn't getting enough milk, you cant seem to poop and you're unsure if the amount of blood in the toilet when you pee is normal or not. You call your doctors office and are put on endless holds and when someone does answer all they can say is if you're concerned you can come back in. You don't want to go back to the hospital you just need some answers.
First off, you're far from alone. This is precisely how most new parents feel. Imagine having access to a library of answers to all the newborn phase questions right at your fingertips. A trusted resource written by a midwife and mom of 4 to keep you from anxiety-inducing 2 am visits to "Dr Google." Dream no more, my friend. I made this Library just for YOU!
"Words cannot express the peace of mind and confidence I received from having Ana as my "Virtual Midwife."
I can’t even imagine going through my pregnancy & the first few weeks of my daughter’s life without Ana's support, wisdom and judgment free guidance. What made the biggest difference for me was how she helped me navigate the day to day learning curves while reminding me to tune into my own intuition and mothering instincts. Under her care I found my own inner confidence as a new mother . This is a gift I will carry through the rest of my daughter’s life as we face new challenges with each new stage of growth .
Even though our appointments were through zoom I felt so connected and would always leave breathing a big sigh of relief after all my many questions were answered. As often happens, my birth did not go according to the plan. I ended up with an Emergency-C Section delivery. Ana helped me process the whirlwind of an abrupt shift in my plans, allowed me space to grieve the loss of my “birth plan” and validated my experience. She helped me navigate a rocky start to milk production and breastfeeding . If you're looking for a well cared for start to motherhood I highly recommend hiring Ana to be part of your team!
"Newborn Care Made Simple" is unmatched by anything on the market.
In all my researching for solid, unbiased support options for new mothers I've never seen anything like this .The blend of more medical advice with holistic remedies was exactly what I was looking for. Having access to this library was like having a trusted friend to consult any time of the day or night for real time reminders and solutions. Ana is a wealth of knowledge both from her real life experience as a mother & her career as a midwife. I refer all my friends to her because every woman deserves this kind of support in postpartum!
You're going to make it, I promise.

"Having access to Ana's loving support during my pregnancy and postpartum was incredible."
Her presence and care honestly felt life saving during one of the most vulnerable times of my life. Ana is the real deal. Her advice is so nurturing and genuinely helpful. She always took ample time to listen & help ease my concerns. It was such a gift to be given a wide array of nutritional advice and herbal options both in pregnancy & postpartum. It's clear her expertise comes from both personal struggles and professional experience. Her ability to listen, and offer helpful advice eased my anxiety and helped me better care for myself and my son. I cannot recommend her enough for anyone preparing for a baby or freshly postpartum.

I created this postpartum guide specifically for you. It's filled to the brim with the most important things you need to know for that first week after birth with your newborn. With this guide in hand, you'll feel confident and inspired instead of overwhelmed with anxiety!
Midwives and obstetrician-gynecologists (OB/GYNs) are both integral to women's reproductive health, yet they approach their roles differently. Midwives, specializing in holistic and patient-centered care, prioritize the natural aspects of childbirth and women's health while remaining equipped to address complications. With extensive training, including at least 3-4 years of accredited education and hands-on experience, midwives emphasize personalized care and informed decision-making, often overseeing over 100 births before certification. Midwives believe in each woman's innate ability to grow, nurture and create new life. They view pregnancy and childbirth as a natural physiologic process rather than a "medical event" needing treatment. Conversely, OB/GYNs, as medical doctors, undergo medical school and residency in obstetrics and gynecology. They handle a spectrum of pregnancies and gynecological conditions, utilizing medical interventions and technology when necessary, highlighting a more intervention-focused approach to childbirth.
